Our Story
Hi there! I'm Kristi Bagwell, the proud owner and creator behind Off the Trace Crafts & Designs.
I’m a proud U.S. Army veteran, a part-time ER nurse, and a full-time mom who finds joy and peace in creating handmade crafts. Crafting has always been my outlet — a way to unwind, express creativity, and share a little bit of beauty and warmth with others.
After years of trying to juggle a full-time nursing career, kids’ schedules, and a spouse who often works away from home, I realized it was time to focus on what truly matters. I made the decision to step back, work part-time, invest more time in my family, and take a leap of faith — to share my love of creating with the world.
What started as a simple hobby has grown into Off the Trace Crafts & Designs, a small business built from passion, purpose, and a desire to bring joy through handmade creations.
This company was born from my love of making meaningful, high-quality items that bring smiles and comfort into everyday life.
